Porcelain is fired at very high temperatures, making it strong and resistant to heat. Bone china includes bone ash in its composition, which gives it a lighter weight and a slightly translucent appearance. Both are premium materials, but bone china is often associated with fine dining and luxury tableware.

Porcelain and bone china are among the most popular materials for premium dinnerware. Porcelain is known for its durability and elegant finish, while bone china is lighter, more translucent, and often considered more luxurious. Both materials are widely used for designer dinner sets because they combine strength with refined aesthetics.

Our luxury designer dinner sets feature metallic trims, hand-painted artwork, and original 24k gold detailing. These are best washed gently by hand with soap and water to preserve their finish.

When selecting a dinner set, consider the material, durability, design style, and number of pieces included. Porcelain and bone china are ideal for elegant dining, while stoneware or ceramic may suit more casual settings. Choosing a design that complements your dining table and interior style also helps create a cohesive table setting.

Yes, we do ship internationally!

Since shipping costs vary depending on your location, order volume, and delivery timeline, we create an individual shipping quotation for every international order so you get the most accurate and fair pricing.

Here's how it works:

✦ Share your order details — send us a screenshot of your shopping cart, or pictures of the products you'd like along with the quantity.

✦ Share your delivery address and timeline — so we can factor in the right shipping partner and speed for you.

✦ We'll send you a quotation — once you approve, we'll take it forward and process your order.

✦ We've got you covered in transit — in the rare event that anything is damaged during shipping, it is completely our responsibility to replace the piece, no questions asked.

Yes! Our pieces are accented with real 24-carat pure gold — not gold-coloured paint, not a substitute, but genuine gold.

Here's what makes it special:

✦ Gold in paste form — we source pure gold in paste form, priced at the daily gold market rate, ensuring authenticity in every batch

✦ Handscreen-printed — the gold is applied through a meticulous manual screen printing process by our skilled artisans

✦ Our mark of assurance — every piece carries our NKD logo at the bottom, stating 24-carat pure gold, so you have complete confidence in the authenticity of what you own.

When you hold an NKD piece, you are quite literally holding gold. 🖤

Delivery timelines vary depending on your location and the products ordered. Here's a general guide:

✦ Dispatch time — all orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days of order confirmation.

✦ Pan-India delivery — delivery time after dispatch depends on your city and courier lead times.

✦ International delivery — timelines vary by country and delivery address, and will be communicated at the time of your shipping quotation.

✦ Made-to-order or low-stock items — at NKD, fresh batches of our pieces are prepared every few days. If your chosen piece is currently in production, it may take a little longer to reach you.
