Boshonto, A Symphony of Spring.
As morning's misty murmur melts away
Golden light, like gentle fingers, plays
On magenta hues, pink petals sway
Unfurling hope, like wings, to greet the day.
In Bengali, boshonto means spring. The season of arrival, of the first bloom, of the first warm wind through the window.
A slender porcelain platter, hand-detailed with a garden of magenta blooms and finished with a fine gold rim. For a slice of banana bread beside your morning chai. For tea sandwiches at high tea. For mithai on a spring afternoon. For the small offerings that turn an ordinary day into a gentle celebration.
