Growing up, evenings at home often meant sitting with my parents and grandmother, playing endless rounds of 28. On the divan, leaning against soft bolsters, the cards spread between us as laughter filled the room.
In many traditional Indian homes, the divan was where stories unfolded — where families gathered, conversations flowed, and games quietly stitched memories together.
Inspired by this spirit of play and togetherness, the Ganjifa Glasses reinterpret the motifs of playing cards as elegant structural forms. Through their graceful contours, delicate openings reveal glimpses of the drink within, allowing light, colour, and movement to become part of the design.
Finished with 24-carat gold gilding, these glasses celebrate joy, playfulness, and the timeless ritual of gathering.
