The Kuchaman Collection draws its soul from a 9th-century fort rising 3,000 feet above the desert plains of Nagaur — a fortress of frescoed ceilings, gilded chambers, and a Sheesh Mahal where a single flame multiplies into a galaxy of mirrors. This Diwali, that legacy comes home, translated into porcelain built for the season's warmest rituals.
The mithai plate carries the fort's ceilings onto a gilded pedestal — gold radiating outward in circles from a quiet porcelain centre, gathering into a deep band of maroon and gold at the rim. Fill it with sweets and diyas and it becomes part of the celebration; empty it, and it remains — a fragment of Kuchaman, passed on as this year's gift to someone you love.
